Mediterranean International Cup (MIC) 2019

MIC – Mediterranean International Cup is organised by AE MICFootball and will be played in accordance to the regulations of the FIFA and the Spanish and Catalan Football Federation
This Youth football tournament in the Costa Brava (North East Coast of Spain). The event counts on the best clubs and National teams of the World competing in different age classes.
The event main purpose is that any young football player can compete against the most famous clubs of the World. Since the beginning the tournament has been supported by famous football personalities like Pep Guardiola, Luis Felipe Scolari, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho. Some participants of the MIC have already made their debut with first division clubs like Leo Messi, (FC Barcelona), Cesc Fàbregas (Arsenal FC), Anderson (Manchester United), Lucas (Livepool FC), and Marcelo (Real Madrid CF).
All the finals of the MIC will be broadcasted by different National TV Channels.
The matches will be played on Natural or artificial high quality grass.
The teams are divided into groups of 4 where all the teams will meet in a round robin series. The two best teams of each group will go to the play off. The third and fourth will go to the Consolation round. All the play off and Consolation matches will be played in accordance to the cup system (direct elimination) and will be decided by penalty kicks, according to FIFA regulations.
Class A1 – U19 – Boys born after 01-01-2000
Class A 2 – U18 – Boys born after 01-01-2001
Class B1 – U16 – Boys born after 01-01-2003
Class B2 – U15 – Boys born after 01-01-2004
Class C1 – U14 – Boys born after 01-01-2005
Class C2 – U13 – Boys born after 01-01-2006
Class D – U12 – Boys born after 01-01-2007
Class F – U19 – Girls born after 01-01-2000
Class E – U12 – Boys born after 01-01-2007
• For B1, B2, C1, C2 and D classes the team can register a maximum of 2 players born after July the 1st of the previous age class year.
• For E class the team can register maximum 1 player born after July the 1st of the previous age class year.
• For A1, A2 and F classes there are no exceptions
